No matter how many projects I take on, I always have to remind myself that the middle of the project is messy. Bits and pieces everywhere. Things only partially done. Things not working as intended.
But when it all comes together, it feels good, because you have something you can be proud of. We're making progress, and more people are joining our team or want to collaborate. It is an exciting time in the project, even if we are still working on it and everything is a mess right now.
So, when you are in the messy middle of your project, don't get overwhelmed, and don't give up. Build something great.
