I saw a beautiful sunset this evening while driving on a two lane bridge that goes over the railroad yard and toll road, just high enough where you could peek over the trees and see the setting sun.
As you climbed up the long bridge, you could see the purple sky with faint specks of small clouds mixed in, and as you got higher you could see more orange and red, until you finally saw the setting orange sun just above the treetops as you peaked the bridge.
As you drove down the other side, the sun disappeared behind the trees, and the orange and purple faded until there was nothing left but a blueish sky with a hint of orange just above the tree line.
It was over in a moment. But it was beautiful.
